Who I am?

My name is Anthony.

I live in Southern Europe, but I grew up living in a few countries until my parents settled here for good. This was a few years ago, but it changed my entire life. It took a long time for me to get used to it, but now I’m happy.

I have a degree in journalism, but I never worked as a journalist. I stopped studying at 16 to go to work. Furthermore, I ended up finishing my studies by studying at night, after work.

I enjoy sharing and giving back. Life is too short for resentment. I think that the future will always bring better things and that we should not have negative thoughts. I like humour! I’m not religious. Likewise, I can’t say I’m an atheist either. I seek the truth, wherever it comes from.

Why am I on Medium?

I’m here on Medium because I really enjoy writing, but most of all because I love reading. Here I found a community of quality writers and incredible stories told in the first person. I feel good here, I’ve made some acquaintances and friends, and I know that I’m going to meet more writers and make more friends. Medium is what I have been looking for some time. Finally, I found it! I feel at home. Free to write what’s in my soul.

My hobbies

In addition to enjoying writing and reading, I also have other hobbies. I like fishing, as I live by the sea it’s something I do frequently. I like model making, especially building models of boats and yachts. Furthermore, I like taking care of my garden and plants. When I have time, I play with our animal family. I go for walks from time to time. I love riding my bike and going down the road with the wind in my face. That’s because I’m a biker. Okay, I think you already know as much about me as I do.
